Saliline Nasal Spray is a nasal medication used to treat nasal congestion (stuffy nose), nasal irritation, and dryness of the nasal passages caused by conditions such as the common cold, flu, pollutants, or allergies. It may also be used as a pre-treatment before administering nasal steroids.
Saliline Nasal Spray contains Sodium Chloride, an isotonic salt solution that moisturizes the nasal passages. It helps to loosen, soften, and dissolve thick or crusty mucus, providing relief from stuffiness and making breathing easier.
How to Use Saliline Nasal Spray
Use Saliline Nasal Spray as directed by your doctor. If you experience common side effects such as cough, sneezing, an abnormal taste, or a stinging sensation in the nose, these usually do not require medical attention and will typically resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Saliline Nasal Spray is for nasal use only; do not swallow it. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients in Saliline Nasal Spray. Consult with your healthcare provider before using it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Saliline Nasal Spray should be used in children only if prescribed by a doctor.
